Ingredients you Need for Churros
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 teaspoons of salt
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoons of baking powder
- 2 eggs, large size
- 2 dashes of vegetable cooking spray
- 1/4 cups of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, ground.
How to make Churros
Step 1: In a saucepan over high heat, add the water, salt, butter and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low.
Step 2: Combine the flour and baking powder. With a wooden spoon, stir vigorously until a ball is formed, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool for 4 minutes.
Step 3: Add the egg into the mixture at a time, stirring to combine.
Step 4: Spoon the churros dough into a small pastry bag with a medium star tip.
Step 5: Pipe the batter onto parchment paper and let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Step 6: Lightly coat each churro with cooking spray. Place 6 churros into the cooking basket and slide into the Air fryer. Cook with the 350 °F temperature 14 minutes.
Step 7: While cooking, stir together the sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. With tongs, carefully remove the churros from the cooking basket. Roll in the cinnamon sugar until evenly covered. Set aside. Repeat with remaining churros.
